Smashed my finger and split it open, got 5 in there. The worst part was the needle he used to numb it, that was very painful. I made it 24 years without any,now my streak is over.

Got my first at about 5. Been alot more since then. Should have been alot more than there were.

i got my first about 4 months ago... i tore my hnd open on a piece of metal shelving, and i'd have to agree... the needle they stick you with is a whole lot worse then the injury itself

the last two times I've had stitches: Second to last time, I did it myself. 3 stitches.
the last time I got them from one of the guys, a former Army medic.( He hadn't been in the army in almost 20 years.) eta:spelling |

Thats all you got Hell I could have fixed in my office. Let me guess they told you it is a tuffs fracture also.
Man thats a OSHA recordable for your employer. Oh and what doc did the stiches? thats a lot of tails to get caught in bandages for the next 7-10 days. I am surprised they did not dermabond that (medical super glue) . Oh and only five hell my kids had that many befor their 4th b'day. They were hell on wheels. I have had over 200 (includes staples) in my life. The most embareassing was 6 for a 5 inch splinter in my leg. |

I've only ever had a few stitches when I had pre-cancerous moles removed from my back, and no broken bones. And my job requires I be fairly active, so no I don't stay inside all the time. |
