19 seconds to go and Texas, already up by one, lines up to go for 2 points.

WHAT IF

Instead of running it in (he must be the fastest guy on the planet cause the California time keepers didn't tick anything off the clock).......

Vince had turned around and run for his own goal. Team blocks USC players to delay pursuit. It would take him 8-10 seconds to get down the field. Might have juked another few seconds off before going down. Now there are 6, maybe seven seconds left. Unless USC runs the kickoff back for a TD they're toast. I say they would have been so surprised he could have run off the whole thing.

Has any team ever tried this? What was the outcome?
