I need help with pricing 2 guns.
Chinese ak (not sure if it's Mak,Poly,Norinco...)
and a M1 carbine (also unsure of make)
These are going to a auction tomorrow and a the Gentleman who has these for sale
told me to stop by and take a look before they get sold tomorrow.
He is not the original owner and did'nt have them in front of him to identify when i spoke
to him this morning, so i have nothing to go by before deciding tonight wether to buy these or not.

can anyone give me a ruff idea what a good used Mak,Polytech,or Norinco ak
should sell for.
And a ballpark figure on used M1 pricing and what to stay away from

I would say about $400-450.00 on the AK

$250.-$400.00 on the M1 Carbine

How hard is it to identify a commercial copy from usgi grade m1 with only a quick visual inspection?
should i be looking for a specific mfg. like Inland,Winchester,rock ola or can these also be commercial copies?
sorry, for not being more specific but i'm not familar with M1's and have no time to research before making a decision.
Hopefully he will give me a day or 2 so i can post the info here and get some help
