I would end up being a criminal, cause I would cut that damn barrel down to look normal.

Mes toos! Anmd I'm seriousa! |
Form 1 is your friend. |
Naw just pay the tax. |

If someone had told me five years ago that civilians will be able to buy FN P90s, I'd have told him he should go back to the funny farm. The times have truly changed.
I congradulate you on your purchase and your exercise in freedom. I am trying to not be jealous... ETA: In all honesty, that long barrel looks a lot better than I thought it would. I think it almost looks better than the normal short version (this one actually looks more like a firearm than some sort of black plastic trumpet). |
I'm very seriously considering doing a Form 1 and SBR'ing that bad-boy! I'm also wondering if the stock could be re-dyed like a HK USC. Really though, I'm just anxious to get out and shoot it. I've shot the full-auto version but not the semi. I think it should be a real blast!

Spade, you don't need this. You can't afford that. Even when the big paycheck comes. Ammo for the M4. Really. That's what you need.
In the neighborhood of $1500.00 not bad for something that will probably be a safe queen if the ATF decides to ban importation of it. |
Theres no importation to ban |

Congrats on your new purchase, but really...nothing about that looks normal. Regards, Bailagent100 |

I have been reading the owners manual and the first line is great! "We are pleased that you have purchased a single shot FN HERSTAL PS90 Carbine." So, I never have to worry about Sen. Feinstein coming to get my new toy. It's a SINGLE SHOT!!!
Oh boy...where to start |
I thought the longer barrel was supposed to be good for an extra 500fps or somesuch?
What are the standard sights on that thing? Is it an optic or some kind of iron sight?
Get your butt over to FiveseveNFourm and be the first person to officially get theirs! And also give a range report pronto? What kind of ss19x do you have?
I refuse to buy from idiots that post lies on thier pages such as " Get em now...Soon to come PS90 will have 30rd mags, and the 50s will return to LE only mags" . What a maroon! Just buy them from CMMG @ www.cmmginc.com/. Talk to Jeff, he's a straight shooter that will hook you up right. |
Im holding out for the FNS2000 but man that is sweet! What does the future hold for affordable ammo in 5.7?
How about by pointing out the fact that they are made domestically. |
He already has a thread. fivesevenforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1412 |

I dont even get the logic. Lets say it was "banned" . Why would you NOT want one? The price would skyrocket! I can see it costing like 5-times more. Its would truly be a collectors item, especially a NIB one. |

Sorry, I thought they were made in Belgium. |

EVERYBODY WAVE TO OUR BROTHERS IN ARMS ......HELLO FIVESEVEN FORUM. |
Thats pretty funny how the first post links right back to this thread! |
Hey Robert.. Can you post a pic of your PS90 next to an M4/Car-15... forsize comparison?
Oh man, i used to like you Robert, now i am just not sure seeing as you now have the 2 guns i would really like to own
Now all you need to get is the 5.7 upper from rhineland arms to use on the 16 lower |
Tag, just because this is cool.
We are in a Second Golden Age, gentlemen... get 'em while they're hot. |

You must understand how little information there has been available on this firearm since the FivesevenForum opened. We have all been starved for the slightest drops of info. I mean, we would post each and every email we got from any company remotely connected with the manufacture of the gun or the ammunition. And now! It's here! People had been wondering who CMMG's lucky (prescient) customers were and I wanted to link. Also I had not started a thread over there since the "Slim Thug Endorses FiveseveN" thread. |
As of when I called CMMG they still had a few available at inflated prices (I presume they bought several from another dealer). Mine shipped earlier today, hopefully it'll show up tomorrow at my dealer (hah, right).
+1 That is probably the reason I won't own one. |
Im still not sold on the cartridge or Id have one or be looking for one. What are some sources for info and testing of this cartridge??
Hey, its fine with me! I just found it amusing. |
Really nice gun btw. Looks presentable with the longer barrel. Going to SBR it? I know it was asked earlier. Also, where is all the Stargate stuff? |
Oh dude I have a chubby now over the PS90. Grr. I'm looking for pics of it field stripped-a PS90 in particular. |
I haven't decided about the SBR route yet. I may wait till the furor dies down a little and prices come down, and buy a second one to SBR. I was the first customer to pick up their gun at CMMG so that is probably the first PS90 sold to a civilian in the US. I'm not sure I want to change anything on it. There will be thousands of them out in a few weeks and I'm sure this particular one won't have collector value, but to me it will be special because it was the first.
