Any other Muppet Show fans here? We've had A-team, Dukes of Hazzard threads, how about one for the best show of twenty years past?

Favourite Muppet:Seen here facing down the Lobster Banditos with his cleaver.

The eternal unfortunate.

Rowlf the Dog (seen here doing a Pulp Fiction scene) comes in a close second, for his philosophical outlooks on life.

What i learned from the Muppets. Someone isn't speaking real Swedish unless they say "bork bork bork" at least once in each sentance.

I used to watch The Muppet Show religiously as a kid.  My favorite Muppet was Animal.  I still have an Animal puppet that my Grandmother bought for me on my birthday 28 years ago.  I also have the Mega-Sized Animal action figure standing on my bookcase.  Season 1 of The Muppet Show came out on DVD recently, I need to pick up a copy.

Tomorrow I search for season one.

The swedish chef was my favorite.  I liked the one where he was trying to open a coconut.  Muppets were the best.

My favorite Muppet skit was on the TV series "The State", where two guys dressed as frontiersmen were paddling around the cubicles in a business office in a canoe. Every now and then they would pull in a trap with a Muppet stuck in it. In one of the traps the Muppet had chewed it's own leg off to escape.

Later they were seen enjoying their Muppet dinners. I guess they tasted like chicken.

Alice Cooper was on the Muppet Show twice if I remember correctly.  On one episode he sang "School's Out", on the other he sang "No More Mister Nice Guy".  Very bizzare.

The Dudley Moore episode is one of my favorites.  He was an amazing piano player.

I have a 'best of' collection. DVD version has some extras like "Muppets auditioning for other roles" including Yoda and the Godfather.
