Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need a website that address gun crime penalties...

I talked my group into writing our team paper on Gun rights and how the "fine does not fit the crime" when it comes to criminals that use guns in a crime and instead the libs just try and add more anti gun laws to the books instead of enforcing the ones already there. Problem is I can't find any sites for info.

Penalties for federal crimes aren't uniformly assessed, correct?  

And, of course, State laws are widely varied.  

Maybe you could find a source for what constitutes a felony & what doesn't (for federal violations).

This topic came up before & no one ended up providing anything (source wise, that is).  

I'll tag this one too.
