I'm looking to buy another .223 rifle. The only one I have (so far) is a Full-size AR-15 National Match A2.  I really like the M4, g36, and the Hk 53/33. Wh the best price on the latter two? What are some others?

If I were you I would go with the M4 type. Same mags, same parts, same controls.

Sig 550 series
HK93
Galil
Valmet (they made a 5.56 variant, right?)
Steyr AUG
FN FS2000

I'm sure that there are many more, but those are my favorites.

ETA: I left out the AR15 platform because that goes without saying.

You might have some problems getting a G36 or Hk53 unless you are loaded.

It's impossible to get a G36 unless you are a class 3 dealer and you get one as a dealer sample.

You can get an SL8-1 converted to look like a G36 and accecpt AR mags for around $3,000.

Stick with the AR platform unless you want a collectible...The rest of the "pre bans" are too expensive to use hard...

I would second the Savage, with the Accutrigger.  Oh, so sweet.  I got a chance to shoot my buddy's at the range one day.  Fargin' awesome.

Looked like this one.

I have a CZ527 Varmint Kevlar in .223.

More accurate than I am , pure joy to shoot, never had a single issue with it execpt finding a good set of rings that would fit that were tall enough to mount a good scope (in my case a Nikon).

The set trigger is a very nice touch.  We're talking gnat's fart to shoot when it's engaged.

The next rifle I buy is going to be a Handi-Rifle in .223 from North American Arms/NEF.  My niece will be old enough (8) to hunt the Missouri Youth Hunt for deer next November, and my brother suggested it would make a nice birthday gift in March.

inexpensive, but VERY nice shooting rifles.

But my Remington 700 BDL is still being made.

Try that!  I still get minute groups on normal days; sub-minute on good days.
