Since I am working in the Katrina/Rita recovery area. My Girlfriend came down and we decided to spend the evening in the French Quarter.
Here are the pics.......  National Guard troops were present, I suppose the NY State Police went home.  The street scene.........    We seen some funny T shirts......          A few wall decorations in Jesters   NOPD was not very busy, I did not see them make a single arrest. Therefore, their wagon was apparently used as a park bench.  All in all it was a good time. Took about an hour to find a place to park about 10 blocks away. With the turn out they had I am sure Marti Gras will be in full swing this year. |

Never said I did not have any. However, there was not as much tittie action going on as I had thought there would be. It must be more of a Marti Gras thing. |
