I use Ebay to check prices, it tells you what people are paying, just look at the completed listings.

Value varies widely with condition. The last ones I sold brought $6 each, but weren't that old. They were well worn though.

Coin condition has a lot to do with the value of a 1883 Morgan. Get it graded if interested in selling it. Price also varies according to the mint. |

You could probably find an online site for getting a good idea how to determine the condition of your coins. They'll have primary wear spots on each coin, like eagle feathers or Mercury's little head-wing-things on the dimes.
Try to Google coin condition or numismatics. That'll give you starting place. |

You would really need to post some detailed pics, or take it to a coin dealer.
If you get it graded professionally, you can probably draw more $$ for it. (www.pcgs.com) Coins are graded from condition 1 - 70. If you have a "good shape" coin, it could mean a "good", "fine" or "ms" (mint state). HUGE difference between them. Good may go for $10. Fine may go for $300. MS60 may go for 1000, with MS61 going for 1500. The better the quality is, the more you're going to get. The coloring on the coin (dark, light toning, rainbow, or white) will effect value also.
