Built a 4 foot high pile of dirt, and then jump it with this :
 get about 6-7 feet off the ground, fly about 10 feet or so...its much much fun.

Sat on my ass. Watched The Band Camp American Pie movie.
Went to Best Buy. Bought The Passion on DVD, and Band of Brothers on DVD Came home Watched Star Trek 3 The Search for Spock Watched the first disc of Band of Brothers Took a nice long walk Watched the second disc of Band of Brothers |

Was at the Schottenstein Center watching Ohio State drain four three pointers in the final two minutes to beat LSU, 78-76. Awesome game...that place was rocking!

Went to the range with my son to shoot .22's.
Going to shoot a IPSC match tomorrow, then come home and have a good New Years Day dinner.

Slept till noon, woke up and ate lunch, took a nap until 4. Set up some ebay auctions to start tomorrow and now im sitting here reading Arfcom listening to all the idiots shoot into the air,and wishing I had a basement..

I spent the day in the garage welding up a pair of chimney caps for the house we're renting. The friggin' dampers don't work in either chimney, so instead of shelling out $200 each for new chimney-top dampers, the owners asked me to build a pair of covers and take it off next month's rent.
They apparently haven't priced steel lately...or mig wire, cutting disks for my grinder, flap disks, etc.

Slept in, helped a friend fix his brakes then the wife and I did a little shopping.
Found a SIG P229R at Sportsmans Warehouse that I just couldn't pass up. A great way to end the year !!

I'm spending the day on duty. So far I have filled out an MPO for a guy and delt with all sorts of crap of why I can't get someone to pick him up. My answer of, "WTF it's New Years Eve, no one is at home for me to call.", has not sat well with them.

Worked my ass off from 7:00 til 3:00. Busted a window in my work vehicle and had to tape that up so it wouldn't fall out and me freeze my ass off. Wife brought home Calazone (sp?). Ate starch til I bogged down. Bounced back from that, Mom, sis, moms friend came up and wanted to shoot fireworks and wanted my wife to make chili, ate chili til I bogged down again. Had about 1/2 pitcher of peach daquri (sp?) and that bogged me down some more. played poker for an hour. then I told everyone I was tired and they all got mad and went home. Now, everyone thinks I'm just a bogged down asshole.

Did laundry, cleaned guns, played with new digital camera,made dinner, reloaded guns, folded laundry, took nap, cleaned up dinner mess, put kids to bed, surfed arfcom.

Went shopping with the wife to get essentials for her while I am gone to Kuwait for 6 months and some new camping gear from Big 5 and stuff at target too.
2 30 degree sleeping bags from Sierra for 15.00 bucks that zip together so the wife and I can go camping and.... Went to Sams Club for 120lbs of Dog food and bulk items that she needs for 6 months like TP, paper towels, BlueBell ice cream (110 lbs no fat but eats a ton of choclote ice cream), new jacket for the flight over to kuwiat since its civvis (22.00 for a decent china jacket) 2 big tubs, and alot more bulk items that cost me $300 Wife broke here arm snow tubbing so had to get the stuff she needs now. Wife is doing good has a plate in her are (opted for surgery because I will be gone next week) and 70% mobility after 2 weeks thank you god for looking out for her. loaded up my SKD eagle chest rig to help a fellow afcommer with decided on a chest rig. Now writing this and later i am hoping for good time with the wife. thats it oh fed the dogs as well. |

Well......this morning I wrote my Doctoral Thesis on Pulse Magnitudes of Psunami Generating Shockwaves.
Then I had breakfast. I took a busload of disadvantaged inner-city utes to meet Chuck Norris. About 11 A.M. I tee'd off with Dick Cheney and played 18 holes. Of course he won...he's the Veep! At 12:30 I stopped by Billy Graham's place for lunch. We did some shooting at his indoor range. Did you know that he has that levitation thing down now? Wild man! At 2 PM I caught the Space Shuttle to London and had Tea with the Queen Mother. What a witty woman she is! Just a real hoot! At 4:30 they called me to stop by and make final adjustments on 'The Ball' at Times Square. At 6 we had cocktails at Bill and Pammy Gate's place. 8:30 Found me preparing blow-fish sushi for the Sultan of Obopamowmow. I think I did it right. Just got home at 10 PM and invented a new method of petroleum drilling which uses a herd of trained plattypus to not only creat the borehole, but line it with a fecal matter tubing that satisfies all the bitching done by the dummycraps about evironmental impact in ANWAR. Right now I'm setting the cesium clock at The National Institute of Standards in Colorado...but hey, I can do it over the internet. In the next hour.....I believe I'll write a concerto or two for my upcomming appearance with the Moscow Symphany tommorow. After that.....who knows.....maybe hookers and blow? It's early yet.

Worked from 9 to 3:30. Went to the mall to get some crapuccino and books at Books-A-Zillion with my wife and girls. Came home and watched "A Christmas Story" with commentary. Left her in bed asleep with "Titanic"'s historic commentary to check in with you guys.

Went shootin', of course...dialed in a '30's vintage 9 shot top break H&R Sportsman...way better that the newer ones and a good way to "get rid" of some very old .22 short & long ammo that won't work in the autos.
Then, I went to work for a quick walk around, checking all the buildings for anything that may have gone wrong. (only one steam leak and one caustic leak is considered good) Then later, just after crackin' open some Bacardi select, I made the ex-wife and myself some steaks, watched the ball drop and switched to apple juice...how anti-climactic is that? Happy New Year! btw

Let's see woke up and raked the dog poop in the yard, then got the hot tub up and running for tonite. Since the the mutts where good the last couple of days I took them for a car ride to work to drop off some tools. The dogs where a hit at work.
Washed the car, cleaned the house and cooked some grub and started to mix up some Stoli's and Coke, which happens to be what I'm drinking right now. I hope evryone has a happy and safe New Year!!!!
