Do you hide all the drill bits and saws that attach to you're power tools in you're home.
Or do you just leave them next to you're power tools.

My tools are locked up in a rolling tool cabinet.

They're kinda....laying around everywhere in the garage.

Is this another type of " Do it for the children" concepts?

most breakings are snatch and grab, I'm just thinking out loud here.
Some punks in the house see you're safe. If it's a good safe really a norml power hand drill will not open it.
But they might think it will and they just end up trying to drill you're lock out and just cause damage to the safe, when if no bits or saws they don't even try.

It would take a real long time to drill through a good safe.( not some .032 steel)

Unless they have the drill used in HEAT, you have nothing to worry about.

When they break into a home, it's ALWAYS using stuff you left out - ladders, sledgehammers, loose rocks/bricks, etc...

Its mostly just the damage they would cause to it, And yes it did it's job and kept them out ,but without the tool bits they would not even try.Im just talking about just some punk kids , not a pro.

Your example is pointless in this situation. Those are professional crooks. If they come for your guns they are getting them with or without your tools. A safe is NOT 100% against a theif.

For the non-Professional its not likely they have the time skill or balls to open your safe with anything you might have.
