I just got off the phone with the Brady Bunch...
Brady Operator:"Brady Campaign, how may I help you?" Me:"Yes, I was reviewing your website that shows the state report cards for gun laws and I noticed that the Texas, which is where I live, earned a D- in 2004. I was wondering what I can do as a concerned citizen to help Texas earn an F next year." Brady Operator: "Can you repeat that please?" Me: "Sure, was reviewing your website that shows the state report cards for gun laws and I noticed that the Texas, which is where I live, earned a D- in 2004. I was wondering what I can do as a concerned citizen to help Texas earn an F next year." Brady Operator: "Uh....can you hold on for a second please?" Maybe we should call and aske why lower scoring states have lower crime and higher scoring states are overrun with criminal activity.

Just looked at the Florida report card. Damned, only a D- as well. Better luck next year.
One thing caught my eye... Carrying Concealed Weapons Law NO police discretion, minimal training, reciprocity F So, reciprocity is bad (like a drivers license) and the po-po should have a say who carries (when I can't deny a cop because he can't shoot worth a damn) and the required training is about the same as a po-po. What part of clueless can't they understand? Speaking of 'clue'... What do you get when you cross the ACLU and a vowel? (hint: E) A CLUE ! Buy a vowel you asshats! |

South Carolina is only a D+, but at least we're moving in the right direction.
Down from a C- the provious year.  I don't think were getting a fair shake tho. We're a Class 3 state. We've expanded recipricity. We have no firearms purchase permits required, handgun or long gun. I mean, whata we gotta do to get an F??? |

Because we don't require licensing for firerms purchases, the waiting period is only 10 days, the DROS is only $25, we don't tax bullets, and it's still possible to get a gun for under $150 here. |
