...Dremel a British helmet into a more modern and MICH like shape? I bought one of those inexpensive used Mk.6 hlemets a while back and its really annoying with the worst chin strap around. I think it could be salvaged into something nicer and more conducive to actually being comfortable if i could take the sides and back up some. Any advice on cutting kevlar helmets?

You can TRY to cut it..............


Just be sure to seal the edges if you are able to find something to cut it.

It's a bitch on blades.

What do you recommend for sealing the edges? Just an epoxy or the like?

Yes.  I think it wicks some, so do a few layers.

epoxy or even superglue should do a decent job, just dont use 5 min epoxy or cheap superglue go get the hobby stuff, much higher quality
