NO rottenstone.
You should only use high grit wet/dry sandpapers, (1000, 1500, 2000 grit) in sequence and then use a clean soft polishing cloth with a fine rubbing compound like Meguiar's no. 3, which will take it to a mirror shine. Rottenstone is not for lacquer finishes. It's for French polishing. Not many guitars are French polished and there's no point in it as the finish isn't the right type for that. CJ |
