I just paid about $2.00 for a cup of regular coffee at a Starbucks near me. I can honestly say that I've NEVER had a worse cup of coffee in my entire life. Its bitter and sour and tastes like burnt beans. NO flavor whatsoever. The FREE coffee at my office tastes ten times better that this crap. I dont see how the top people sell this crap with a straight face. Honestly, I'd be ashamed to be the CEO for this company.

After taking two sips I threw it away. Now I have a mild stomach-ache.

Honestly, I hope someone comes along and outsells them. They truly do not deserve the business they get; its solely based on marketing and market saturation. I know this because whenever a "real" coffee company opens up next to a Starbucks, the other guy has a line out the door.

Hey Starbucks if you're reading this....

Well, I've never tried any, so I can't say.

Their hot chocolate isn't bad, though.

I got some, just the regular stuff, in an airport once. I remember I wasn't impressed. My Yuban from home was better. YMMV

Only tried it once. It tastes like burnt crap to me. I would rather have a cheapo  cup from McDonalds than that over priced burnt crap!!

Yes their coffee does suck, but I imagine most people that go in there are not looking for real coffee, they want the "half caf, triple mocha, raspberry latte with whip cream on top ghey special", in which case they ain't really tasting the coffee anyway. But I think pretty much all coffee sucks except for the stuff I make at home (home roasted, fresh brewed).

As a cartoon I once saw stated "OH, you want a candy bar in a cup!"

I'd be proud.  Selling overpriced crap to huge numbers of suckers - that's an amazing and impressive accomplishment.  Like selling sand to arabs or ice cubes to eskimos.

This makes great coffee if you do your part.  Much better than Starbucks when paired with a good grinder.

The only problem is that my house isn't full of very attractive highly caffinated women.

Tried it once and thought it tasted like ass as well - gave me a headache.

Like others have stated, I think most of their clients are after the foofoo stuff.

Uhm, how come some of you guys seem to know what "ass" tastes like?

Seriously, though, I agree - tastes horrible.  Dunkin Donuts makes MUCH better coffee.

This thread has restored my faith in humanity. However, if I had any reason to believe that my ass tasted as bad as Starbuck's coffee, I'd kill myself.

My Daughter asked me to bring home a pumpkin spice latte for her. Only because she has me wrapped around her little finger would I even endure going in Starbucks. Told her she owed me and has to go to the range with me. I too bought a plain black coffe it was F**KING TERRIBLE.
