I subscribe to this servece for tips on child rearing, ilnesses, etc.

This poll caught my eye, I'm NOT asking to smash it, but look at the numbers.

Seems like the cross section is pretty squared away about toy guns and attitudes toward guns.

How do you react when your child pretends that other objects (bread sticks, Legos formed into a gun shape, etc.) are firearms?

As long as it's not at the dinner table, it doesn't bother me.
I ignore it -- if I make a big fuss it'll get worse.
I try to redirect his attention to something else.
I remind him that guns, even pretend guns, are not toys.
He gets a time-out or some other punishment.
This issue hasn't come up for our family.


Where the hell is the "I grab a bread stick and draw down" option?
