I will probably pay dearly for this post as my better half loves to lurk and read in here all the time, but I have to pass this along.....because it is "The unwritten law"
I got a subpeona in the mail in the form of a Bay County, Florida juror summons.
I am reading it at our breakfast bar and across from me she is reading it as well.
The summons comes in three parts.
The first part is the parking pass for the court house so you don't get towed, it says Remains in Car
The second attatched part says Bring with you and has the details about your duty.
The third part is just the outside mailer.
I am reading this and she asks what it is, I say it's a subpeona for jury duty.
She says "Oh my god, they found remains in YOUR car?"
Now what came next was what we call the DBL, which was followed by my hysterical laughter.
I love you Baby!
