Got a 2005 USMC Silver Dollar Proof for Christmas from my kids

Yeah, and from what I understand the US Mint has sold out (of the proofs, at least).

about the only place to get them are from dealers or ebay

Please either buy a smaller digital camera or learn how to crop your pictures and reduce them in size. It is concidered foolish to post a 2159 x 1619 picture on the Internet. Understand that most people's monitors display a maximum of 1024 or possibly 1280 pixels across meaning your pictures of the coins aren't viewable. The maximum size you should be using is about 800 to 900 horizontal lines.

They down loaded fast enough for me as I have three T-3 lines connected to my network.

While futile, I did attempt to redeem myself in the original post (hence shitty photo comment).
Not all folks here are computer/gun/camera/cropping/jackofalltradesincludingthekitchensink geeksquad experts. Understand that I'm included in that group. And a quick learner

Very good looking coins. Congrats on scoring one!

Here's a cropping I did with the software that came with my camera. I didn't even bother resizing, so it's still a bit big. You're pics have great composition though. But I couldn't see it until I saved them and saw them a bit smaller.

Just play around with your software. If it's good stuff then it'll be a breeze to crop/resize pics.
