Wasn't thrilled with the one I shot. I've never owned one but spent a lot of time with one that had awful FTF malfunctions. I've never seen one in stainless.

I had one for a little bit. Didn't find it reliable or accurate. YMMV.

Browning BAR is far and away a better rifle...avoid the BosS system.

Get a Browning Bar instead.. The boss system if properly used is the cats meow!
The remmie 7400 is CRAP! Disposable after 1000 rounds crap! |

Stay away from the Remington 7400. There are better semi auto hunting rifles on the market than a Remington
Benelli R1 Browning BAR (only they lack a true detach mag) Winchester has a new rifle for 2006. |

They come in nickel finish
crap crap crap we will not take on in on trade unless it is almost free the above goes double for 742s We do not carry new ones either |

It has been my experience that 7400's are plagued with mis-aligned barrels. I hate bore-sighting those rifles. Some of them are so bad you can just sight down the receiver and tell it is messed up.
