Hi there, I own a Steyr AUG-Z (semi-auto, 20" barrel, bullpup). Is this the right place to find other AUG-Owners or should I rather go somewhere else? Any specific AUG-Forumes known?

Thanks and stay safe.

He owns a Steyr Aug and a bunch other high end, full auto guns from Europe.

There are some Austrians here too.  Welcome.

He're my baby, its the ONLY firearm I've ever owned that has NEVER had a jam or misfire of any kind. And I've put thousands of rounds through it.

There is a Steyr specific message board but they don't get much traffic. You came to the right place.

Hi there Folks,

thanks for the warm welcome!
I have an AUG, a over/under shotgun, two Glock 19s and a beautiful Mannlicher-Schönauer hunting-rifle form my wifes grandpa. That's it so far. No ARs (yet?)

Hey MAYDAY, that's a beautiful rifle. Mine's similar but black. And: you've got your safty off

I have looked at them and thought of getting one, pretty expensive though

There's been talk recently of a US company making US receivers and the parts necessary to make US AUGs. The people involved with it, though, don't seem willing to name the companies or provide many details. DSA is one name that keeps coming up, though.

Please someone make a damn US AUG...  I want one...  One way or the other I will own an AUG someday.  I saw one at a gun show way back in the 80's when I just started to like guns.  The guy next door had one and he ended up shooting out his wife's tires with it one night (that's the rumor I kept hearing)- he has since gone on to be a fairly big name gunsmith...  I think the first "Die Hard" movie really made me want one - that and and HK MP5 - I just got a HK94 so I'm halfway there!

Spooky

Captain Steele: Sergeant, what's going on here?
Hoot: Oh, just some aerial target practice, sir. Didn't want to leave it behind.
Steele: I'm talking about your weapon. Delta or no Delta, that's a hot weapon. You know better than that. Your safety should be on at all times on base.
Hoot (holding up his index finger): Well, this is my safety, sir.
