Hey, folks.

I have an Optura 20, and I think it crapped out.  The lens cover is off, but the LCD and viewfinder both only show a black screen as if the lens cover was on.  When I record, it gets sound.  Playback just shows a black screen plus sound.  I have miniDV tapes that I have  used before replay normally.  Anyone have any ideas what could be wrong?

Sounds like it's been dropped and that CCD is no longer connected to the circuits.

NOT USER REPAIRABLE!

These things are very tiny and a bitch to work with.

Didn't get dropped but I think it got jostled in the airport shuttle.  How much does it cost to repair?  Is it even fixable?
