Anyone doing their family/presents/whatever tonight instead of tomorrow morning?

I'm working, so we've decided to do everything after I'm done tonight. (great schedule!)
I guess it will technically be Christmas morning!

Well, whenever y'all decide to celebrate, enjoy!

The family presents we open on Christmas Eve and the side of the family we visit in the eve.  Then we head to the Grandparents, spend the night and open the Santa presents after he shows up there on Christmas morning with the rest of the extended family.  Lots of kids on Christmas morning is always fun.

Actually did ours last night.  It's a first for that, and frankly it's left me a little confused.  Kids are with their Mom today, and I'm hanging out on my own.  Football is over for the day, so I've snuggled up against a bottle of Crown.

Don't really know what's left for tomorrow, except I have to work a couple of hours.

I kind of miss the normal confusion, kids waiting for Christmas day.

Still have the Christmas spirit however, Merry Christmas to all!  Don't take what you have for granted, your family is the greatest gift ever!

Both.

My family was traditional ARFKOMMERs since way back in the 60's.

We got together Christmas Eve with my mom's brother and sister and their families. So we did gifts then.

Christmas morning we did ours at our house.

Since I had to work Friday, Sat. & Sun. 12 hr shifts my family is not gathering at my house till monday the 26th.
Instead, tonight Christmas Eve, I am here with 3,000 felons all snug in thier bed with visions of sugar plum fairies & other things that dance in thier heads. I along with approx. 75 custody staff will hope for peace on earth and in the cells and dorms of our facility. Merry Christmas!!!!
