Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Is there an "optics" forum...question about a mount for a compact ACOG

I looked, but couldn't find one.

I'm looking for a quality AR flat-top mount for my compact ACOG w/special ring base. ARMS, GG&G and LaRue all make mounts for the M16 base, but no one seems to make a mount for the "special ring" model. The thumbscrew Trijicon mount (MM08) is my only option at this point...personally, not my first choice.

Oh, it's under AR15.. I was looking under General & Armory.
