Yeah, ain't they a wonderful thing. Mine is already set to record it. BTW, anyone who has Dish DVR (or possibly Direct DVR), or even cable, and you have TCM, "The Thing from Another World" is on 12/31/05 at 2300 on TCM. Great old classic scifi. James Arness is the "thing" and Kenneth Toby from the old "Whirlybirds" series is USAF Captain Henry. |

Anyone know how long the show runs? half hour or an hour? My tv program has a problem with shows that go past midnight. I'm trying to set it up to record as I'm going out bowling and drinking tonight.

They do half hour and hour long shows, it just depends. But if that showtime is no good it'll probably be replayed at least once later in the night. |

Kentucky does kick ass. Everybody down there was so cool to us (once you got out of L'ville of course). Watching that last night just made me want to go back again inthe spring - you know why? It's the sound. As you walk up the road to the ranges, the echos of machine guns going off make the hair on the back of your head stand up - and when a mini-gun goes off - it is impossible not to smile. Impossible. That and the fact that it's one the best gun shows I've ever been to make it a "must visit before I die" type weekend for everyone that's into guns. |
