How is this California legal if it uses a bullet that is .510" diamiter?

ca very specifically bans the .50 bmg only. serbu arms and EDM both will make rifles chambered for it. Dies are available and it uses the same components as the .50 bmg, you just fire form a new shoulder on bmg brass. |

IIRC, the NRA and Fifty Caliber Shooting Association both allow use of it in .50 shooting competitions

Ah! Thats great, it looks like they really screwed the pooch with their latest attempt to take away your rights. I hope everyone out in Cali gets these before they change the stupid law. |
