I bought this scope a few months ago from a friend. Are these old Colt scopes decent quality?

My friend bought it new in the 80's and never even mounted it on a gun. I think it's over 20 years old.

That scope has some value to a collector.  It's the older 3x scope (the later ones were 4x).

i have the cheep redstar virsion of it, it works GREAT.. BDC works fine, holds its zero, and its clear...

i have no problems with it..

If I remember correctly, the scope was made by Tasco, with the Colt logo.  I remember that it was sold for something like $100 back in the late 1980s.  It was standard equipment with the AR15 Delta Elite.
