It's just what it says it is......a propane gun that scares birds away from corn with noise ........

Scares birds away so they dont eat your corn. Some airports use them to scare birds away so they dont fly into cockpit windows or jet intakes.

By the description, I was really hoping it was something like a potato gun that fired ears of corn.

When I was in high school, we had neighbors a half mile away or so that used one of these.
Every half hour or so....... boom. I would imagine birds would get used to it. Hell, if crows learn to stand at the edge of a road while cars pass by, I would think a simple "boom" is no big deal. |
