Well, you've been registered here longer than I have but not many posts. Lurk a lot?
If so you should know that things come and go around here. We have our high tides of good times and we have our low tides where all that seems to be around is rotting carcasses stinking up the place. Tide seems to be out now. I can't figure out what's flushing this bunch out from under the rocks now. |

I could really care less about being friends with narrow-minded extremists (whether those extremists are left or right is irrelevent) if the view is shared that anyone that falls in the gray area between extreme left or extreme right, is either a fascist or a commie respectively, go have fun with yourselves. I like having variety here. Can you say "celebrate diversity"?
 People who frequent this site have all sorts of opinions. Lots are republicans, but that is their problem.  I enjoy the conversations, construction of arguments, and the info you find here and almost nowhere else. I've enjoyed shooting black rifles since the 1970s, and that is what brought me here, and what keeps me here. I don't really care much about "smacking down" liberals or anyone else, but I will call things the way I see them, popular or not. It is the American way. |

Theres plenty of diversity on Arfcom...that's why we have religion forums, North vs. South threads, etc, so don't give me crap about everyone here being in lockstep. It's about people on a gun forum vocally supporting anti-gun politicians and promoting anti-gun ideals. i am not willing to compromise my beliefs. i will vote for a republican if s/he shares the same views as me on all the issues i care about, but otherwise i will vote for the party which most represents my beliefs. the only way a third party is ever going to gain prominence is if it has supporters, which will never happen if people keep choosing "bad" instead of "worse".
