I need car insurance for my '88 Jeep Wrangler. Just the state required minimum of PIP & Liabilty.
I'm in Florida. I tried AIG, but they obviously had ass rape in mind.  Geico and Progressive can both go to bloody hell AFAIC. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. HS1 |

How is your driving record and Credit history? I unfortunatly no more about insurance in the state of Florida than I care to. I would be happy to give you any advice that I can. If you have good credit and a good driving history I suggest.
Amica, USAA, Travelers, If you have an American Express card, Amex is pretty tough to beat. Additionally where are you at in florida (specifically what county)? |

I'm paying ~$650/yr only for liability + uninsured motorist on a '94 sports car. 21st century with all the discounts for my field of work, etc. People have been telling me it can't get much cheaper for a young single male (clean driving record) living in an urban area. I wouldn't pay less for the TV commercial insurance like Survival. |

For 20yo Bronco I pay $460 a year, and thats with Geico. It's the cheapest insurance I've found besides progressive, but I checked both and Geico was just a little cheaper.

Here is the rundown for a couple of states from my expiriences.
California, Mercury, and 21st Century Mercury is damned near impossible to beat. Georgia (Depending on driving history) Travelers Almost impossible to beat. Tennessee (Depending on driving history) Travelers, and Geico Farm Bureau as well. Florida, (You guys are screwed) No insurance company wants to write business in Florida. The ones I state previously seems to be best. Try Hanover. I just recently dropped Geico, and ended up with a kick-ass policy that is loads better for way less money. |

Stay the hell away from Hanover, they may be a little cheaper, however sometimes you really do get what you pay for, at one time I had appoints with Hanover/Allmerica/Mass Bay, They ARE A FREAKING NIGHTMARE when it comes claims time or service time or underwriting time. |

No credit, don't believe in it. One accident in 20 years, got screwed and received 3 tickets. Accident happened in June 2005. I'm in Broward county. I'm screwed it appears. Progressive paid a $30K property and injury settlement for an accident that wasn't my fault. I feel like they should have done much more. The LEO who wrote me the tickets and took the report is a 15 year traffic homicide investigator. He told me I was screwed and because of the "appearance" of the accident, there was no way to fight it. This shit really sucks. Because of being charged for this accident, my rates are 'gonna suffer. AIG wanted $5123 for 6 months. Friggen nuts! HS1 |

USAA, I pay $527 every six months for full coverage, full tort, $500 deductable on a 2003 GMC Seirra.

I am currently with progressive it was the cheapest stable company at the time. I will likely change soon since my 25th birthday discount seems to not exist. Over 6 months they discounted less than $40 State Farms would have been $300 over 6 months but Progressive is still cheaper.
$111 per month full coverage on 2003 Saturn Ion 1 at above 25yo. Initial down payment +$110 per before 25yo. |

Depending on where you are at in PA, and your credit, Travelers or Electric insurance can smoke that rate. |
