I found this picture in another thread awhile back, it's of an SKS captured in Iraq, but I don't recognise the model the barrel seems to long so what it it?....

Looks like a Russian model to me also. I have one that looks like that with the laminated stock. Well machined weapon but the trigger pull really sucks on mine.

So why is the barrel longer, I am unaware of the Russians makeing a long barrel version, could this be a new model thats been discovered?....
