I like the looks of the Sig P220 and similar models. What is you favorite?

Quoted: I like the looks of the Sig P220 and similar models. What is you favorite? View Quote The 220 and 226 are both great looking machines. Actually, Id have to give my HS2000 a '9' on the aesthetics scale. Think Glock19 with slanted slide serrations, slimmer grip, Sig-style (and ambidextrous) mag release, thumb rest, and front tac-rail, and you've got yourself a rugged, not to mention attractive, piece of work. My winner though is the Desert Eagle - b/c it just screams "try me...please" [:D] [blue]New Jew~[/blue] |
I think the coolest looking handgun is a Desert Eagle but I prefer a modern semi-tricked out 1911 style handguns like a Springfield TRP.
To me, nothing beats the classic look of a Royal Blue 6" Colt Python.
1911 style.
Edited to add the "RMA Patriot" which definitely qualifies as a pistol. |
I like the 1911's,the Sigs, and glocks too. Generally I think the coolest looking is the one I'm buying at the moment.
Can I change my vote...to an Automag III/V. I'd probably wet my pants looking down the barrel of that monster.
Depends on mood.
The 1911 is one of the best. I also like the S&W N frames. And the Peacmaker. |
One of the original CZ75s with walnut grips. Mmmmm... Cocked and locked DA....droooooool...
That and the SIG P239 are the only 9mm pistols worth a damn, in my estimation. Of course, I'm a 1911 guy, but the CZ was the logical evolution of J.M. Browning's designs. Oh, if it was only in 45ACP! (No, Witness clones don't count as they are pimped out Italian pieces). I miss mine![>Q] Semper Fi! Ken Little |

Quoted: To me, nothing beats the classic look of a Royal Blue 6" Colt Python. View Quote I'll second that. Second pick would be the blued 4" Colt Diamondback in 38 Special. I have both and I'm trying to get a genuine ivory grip made for then. Should look great when done. Big and little brother. |
My top two nominees for "best looking" pistol would have to be:
1. 1911A1 2. Walker Colt Revolver |
Quoted: ...like a Springfield TRP. View Quote Hells yes! That is one sweet 1911 variant (my favorite, actually) My vote for best looking handgun: HK USP Expert |

I'd have to vote 1911.
That hk is a fine weapon but it's definantly doesn't have any style points. That thing is almost as ugly as a ruger p90. |

Best looking..?
1) I'd have to cast my vote for the new S&W that was featured on the cover of one of the gun rags a few months back. It's a .41 revolver with a greenish tint to the steel, creating an Olive Drab look to the metal, and a Hogue monogrip. 2) "Jimmybcool's" Big Bore custom 1911 that was made with Damacus steel. I would give the Damacus 1911 top billing, but I have a special fondness in my heart for wheelguns! |

A nickel plated .380 Lorcin with fake ivory grips monogrammed with either bullfighters or roosters.

Large frame, S&W Model 29 Revolver, 44 mag, blued, 8 in barrel. Sorry I don't have a pic.
"MAKE MY DAY" |
Revolver-S&W 24 with the ltwt 6 1/2" barrel
Pistol-Blue 1911 with rosewood diamond grips Lust! |
Colt Camo Anaconda .357mag 6 in barrel. Friend has one and pointed it at a thug one night, and he claims the guy begged for mercy. It is tight, can't wait till I turn 21!
I have to go with Colt. 1911 or SAA, how many other guns are copied as much?
Beretta 92f is my favorite for looks. It is a thing of beauty. IMHO.

Kimber Full Size Custom CDP.
Blued aluminum frame, stainless slide, smooth contoured, rosewood grips, nite sites, checkered front strap. http://www.kimberamerica.com/CDP_Series.htm "The urge to save humanity is almost always a false front for the urge to rule." H.L. Mencken |

My vote goes to my P-08 german luger. Mfg. in 1938 by Mauser (S/42) and still a winner IMHO.
The best looking handgun, is the one I have in my hand, when a BG has decided to make an attempt at depriving me, life, liberty or property.
Most likely a Browning design (short recoil, tilting barrel, single action, semi-automatic design) or one of it's derivatives. Waterdog |
Type 94 Nambu. Looks crappy but you can fire it by pressing the external sear. What a great option for when you lose your trigger finger in a banzai charge. Nahhhh.....
Original Borchardt? Love that action extension that hits your wrist. Nahhh.... Seriously, 5" Smith 629, 4" Smith 686. Even better with custom wood grips. Really any modern revolver with a full lug looks terrific except for the Taurus models with the angled front lug face. Too 'Buck Rogers'. CB |
Nickle 6 inch Colt Python, or a S.S. Walther PPK. Yup I like "pimp guns".
- Nickle plated Browning Hi-Power
- Luger - Mauser Broomhandle - My G23 |
My vote goes for the H&K 45 USP Compact. But the older Colt Pythons did have a beautiful rich Royal blue finish.

I'll be shocked if this works...

The best looking handgun is the one that i am holding and not pointed at me [:)]
[pistol] ...OHHH NOOOO!!!! its a Gundam...AARRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!! |
The SIG P226 (or P220), The Desert Eagle in .50 AE, and the Walther P99 (all in BLACK).

I would have to go with the Colt Python in blue as well...

I own a Taurus Raging Bull and an H+K Expert.
I think the Raging Bull is the best looking. |
Walther PPK, it goes nice with formal wear. Of course the plastic fantastic will always catch my eye.
G45 |

By favorite looking handgun has been the same for the past fifteen years. A Taurus PT101 with mirror finished chrome finish and nice, red, Brazillian Rosewood grips.
Saw one fifteen years ago, but still haven't got one! I don't buy guns for looks, most of the time. :D |
