$9.95 just to surf AR15.com? Please tell us that you got your moneys worth by at least surfing for some porn too.

DIA isn't too bad of a place to be stuck.  I go to Denver regularly for work.

$10 for arfcom?  I would've bought a #8 at Taco Bell instead.

I was going to surf from my phone, but it's a PITA

So now there are kids in my AO that are entertaining themselves by running the wrong way on the moving sidewalks while screeching hysterically.

Wish I could draw down

The last time I flew through Denver, there were internet kiosks in the terminal - free for the first 30 minutes.  Also free after that if you logged on as a new user.

Yeah, I was surprised to hear that they didn't have a free network setup in the airport.

Read up on dial-up-networking through bluetooth or a cable, use your phone as a modem.

Or get an EDGE card from Cingular, EV-DO card from Sprint or Verizon.  it's only $50-80 a month for internet access pretty much throughout the country.  Cheap considering the productivity you recapture if you're a road warrior.

My wireless card sniffed a network that was labeled as "free" but it wouldn't assign me an IP address

There are very few airports in the states that have free WiFi.  Go to some developing countries though and it's pretty common  It's all about the $$$
