I ordered a set of Trijicon tritium sights for my H&K USP from BOTACH a few days ago. I also ordered some batteries at the same time. I needed the sights right away, so I specified two-day shipping. Some time later, I received an e-mail telling me that the batteries had been shipped. The message also said that the sights were not in stock. When I called them to find out when the sights would be shipped the operator told me that they had stopped selling the Trijicon sights some months ago, even though they were an active catalog item and showed as being in stock when I added them to my cart.

So basically I spent almost as much for two-day shipping as the batteries cost alone!

Some people here had said they were starting to get their act together. Seems not. Guess I'll keep giving my money to others.

Based on my previous experiences with them as well as what others were saying I had come to the conclusion they had the most inept staff of any company ever created. Not malignant, just incompetent and lazy. Maybe it is a family operation or something. I heard it was all mexican workers at one point and hardly anyone understood english. Not sure what to make of any of it except they are incompetent, of that I am convinced.

And there is nothing they have that I cannot find elsewhere.

When Surefire batteries went down to like $1.25 a battery...I ordered 3 boxes of Surefire batteries from them and recieved Sanyo batteries. I called them to say thats not what I ordered, they said I could send them back at my expense. Need to say they won't be getting any of my money anymore.

I had about a dozen good experences with them and their 20% off everything (Aimpoints/ACOG) and then they boned me twice which was enough. On one order I bought like four or five LED flashlights to experiment with them ... they arrived NINE MONTHS later!

I've heard bad things about Botach...they never have their shit in stock, for one.
