A much better solution woudl be a reversing ring.  Its a little more money, but still under $30, assuming you have the prime lens, which the pringles can idea assumes as well.  There is no light leakage, and it is much easier to use.  I use one all the time on my D70, and I love it.  I've got some amazing shots of wasps and dragonflies.  On the dragonfly, you can see the individual hairs on the head quite clearly, and the hexagonal grid of the eye is apparent.  I'll post it here sometime :)
