I have two offices.  One in a suburb, mixed blue collar workers and professionals.  I goto another clinic one day a week which mostly medicaid and unemployed.

Observation:

The higher income people are much lighter on the average, about 75-100lbs. I saw about 30 patients at the clinic and over half were over 300lbs.

But seriously how much do you have to eat to maintain 300lbs of body mass?

It is a VERY ODD development in human history when the poorer people are heavier than the richer ones

Yes in the past only the rich got fat because they ate alot and didnot do manual labor.  Now its the opposite, the poor eat like shit and dont work.

Its similar to how people tan.  In the past  the poor got tanned because they worked the fields. Now the rich get tanned because they can afford to sun themselves.  Whites want to be darker and blacks want to be lighter!

And yet we have idiots that claim the decreased ozone layer is why we have a rise in the incidence of skin cancers...

But to answer your query, humans have NEVER had cheaper food.  And never have humans had so much easy food.

Try making a meal from "scratch" over a wood fire with only cast iron utensils.  Then look at how hard it is to heat a frozen meal...or order a Big Mac, fries and a large diet drink...get the picture?
