I am looking at a "new" truck, a couple I am looking at are Dodge RAM 2500's with the 5.9L auto.  I already know that Dodge has a rep for bad transmissions.  Are these years included?  What specifically are the issues, and what mileage range do you need to look out for?

Thanks guys......

ETA - I am asking about automatic transmissions.......

They will either last 500,000 miles or explode every 5,000.  It's a game of chance.  I played it, and so far I'm winning.....
