I'm in Bradenton, just across the bay south of Tampa. I usually go down to Knight's Trail, south of Sarasota. I've yet to try the Manatee range out east of town. I'm hoping to try it out in a week or two. My buddy just got a pre-ban that causing him a great amount of itching.

I also have gone to a Rat Pack Ocala shoot (http://assaultweb.net/cgi-bin/forumdisplay.cgi?action=topics&forum=Shoots+and+Meets&number=8&DaysPrune=10&LastLogin=) . That's where you see many types of military 'toys'.

i'm over in Polk County near Winter Haven and I am somewhat new to the AR thing. The only place I've found to shoot over here is Teneroc shooting range just north of Lakeland.Let me now if your ever over this way and we'll go sling some lead.

If you didn't already know, Hernando Sportsman's Club is holding another machine gun shoot this weekend.  They will be having WWII reenactments on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (23rd to 25th).  Sunday (25th) will be the actual machine gun shoot.  They usually light up the firing line about 9:00 AM.

Hernando is great but is a long way from you.
Take I 75 North to S.R. 50 West to U.S. 19
North.

I belive your best bet is Lakeland, they have
an awesome gun club and run the best gunshow
in the state.
