This was going around work today...
Interesting read about a guy that put a round through his hand Couple cool pictures of the wound 40 cal hydra-shok Efficacy.pdf |
27 years of gunhandling, many of them professional, and he still calls it a clip.
And doesn't check the chamber before pulling the trigger. Darwinism at work. |
That looks alot worse then the .45 Blacktalon one...
HUH-HUH-HUH-HHAAANNNDDSHOTT! /quake3 voice |

Unfortunately the guy doesn't give a lot of information in the story, like how much it hurt, how he got medical attention, blood loss, recovery time, etc. He really could have filled out the story more.
Sucks to be him. Not too hard to unload a firearm before handling it. All firearms are always loaded. - rem |

+1 Once I read "Clip" I knew this guy was an "Expert" |

And who the hell posts something like that in .pdf format.
The Sigma and Glocks must be very similar in design. |
I heard a California state Senator is going to try to ban Glocks next legislative session because of the "safety features" aspect of their handgun control law. They're going to add to the requirement that all California guns contain a "magazine" safety and "loaded chamber indicator" an additional requirement that pulling the trigger shall not be required to strip or disassemble the gun. The nanny state takes advantage of incidents such as these, you see. |
Well at least it's a different one than the one that has been posted about 50 times.
Looks like major pain. |
Considering the number of people injured from other common household items, I think these Senators should be reminded of what the real threats are. Does anyone have a current list of statistics regarding injury/death from rifles, handguns, lawn mowers, chainsaws, toasters, ball point pens, etc? Lets see them put a "loaded slot indicator" on a 4-slot toaster. |
The correct term is "profeshunal." Hence, the .40. |
I'm thinking it's okay he used the term "clip," considering he has the ability to see/observe the rotation of the bullet as it entered the arm rest. He's the only one professional enough . . . blah, blah, blah.
That's about how the "blacktalon one" looked before it was field dressed......trust me. |
Good thing he wasnt a cop, it would have killed him dead for sure.
Damn......great personal defense round though. My .357 snubby is loaded w/ those, I gotta go test them on something organic.
hope is wasn't his monkey-spanking hand.
I expected a hole you could see through, sort of Dick Tracy like. What caused the split in the skin in the heel of the palm? |
Not only that, but who puts their free hand in front of the muzzle before pulling the trigger? |
they are very, very similar |
Who the fuck pulls the trigger with the muzzel in your palm? What a tard.
What was that saying, "Don't point at anything that you don't want destroyed...." or something like that... |
both the glock and sigma have chamber indicators. |

I got one better. I have a .40 S&W Hydra Shok bullet that went through my left leg. I was shot by a friend who was fucking around with a Glock, in the back seat of my car. It went in and went out, and lodged itself into the drivers door. I was able to drive 15 miles and walk unassisted 50 yards to the ER, by myself. For all this trouble I got pain killers, two bandaids, crutches, a new Glock 22, an overnight stay, and two Band Aids. I will post pics of the bullet as soon as I can find it.

He's been handling guns for 27 years and still calls the magazine a 'clip'?

I always know someone will use this line when a .40 is the topic of discussion. |
