I am picking up a new .45 acp this weekend.  I intend to post a simple range report after taking it out for the first time.  I was just wondering at what range should I fire at for accuracy.  It is a 3.5" barrel.

Is 7 yds and 15 yds the standard for a defensive handgun?

Thanks,

Stangle

Stangle,

Just post whatever range you're shooting it at.

You might want to post this in the handgun forum.

I usually start shooting groups at 7 and work my way out to 50 with most pistols. With a 3.5 inch barrel I probably wouldnt go past 25, but thats up to you.
