Hello everyone, new to the board.

Just bought my first AR for $750.  It's an Oly PCR-99 in VGC, with 1250 rds ammo, 7-30rd mags, Tasco scope, muzzle brake and collapsible stock thrown in.

Good deal or bad deal?

Real good, even great if the mags are USGI.

Well 4 of 7 Mags were GI but like new. The other 3 are serviceable but don't know make. The bullets are Georgia Firearms reloads 55gr FMJ. What have you heard about the PCR-99?  Is it comparable to the PCR-5?
BTW, This board is awesome.
