I don't get it. Subsonic? Got any specs? Or is it Photoshop?

Looks like 22 rimfires just with 22 caliber projectiles you'd expect on a 223. Tell me when you reload one with a vmax 40gr.

It looks to me like Imbro took 2 .223 bullets and stuck them into fired .22lr cases.

If they are real, I'd like to know where I can get about 5,000 of the 62gr type.

u could probly cook up a 223 bullet using rime fire the ? is WHY?!

I'd like to know how someone could increase projectile weight 38% and muzzle velocity 67% without any increase in case size.

That might be more chamber pressure than a 10/22 can handle. [>:/]

That's an old joke, but still amusing.

First saw it about 6 years ago, they also had a .17 rimfire and some other weird mutant-cartridges....

Sorry, I can't seem to get the picture when I open this. Could you be talking about the 22 ILARCO / 22 Short Magnum Rimfire? It was a 22 WMR shortened to the same length as the 22LR so it could work in the Illinois Arms Company's Model 180 Subgun. If you have one of these don't damage it - it's a collectors piece!!!

Hey, I opened it up this morning and there was the picture. It's not the 22 ILARCO but looks like the same idea. Is there a possibility that this might be available from a manufacturer? There have been a many people who voiced a desire to have a conversion kit similar to the Ciener 22LR conversion unit for AR's that would work with 22 magnums. The big problem is finding a good magazine. If the cartridge you have in the picture was made with a 40 gr. bullet and was the same over-all length as the 22LR there would be no problem - and Ciener still has 30 round mags available! Is there a manufacturer available for this round?
