Juggernaut,
While I believe in the flood of Noah, that is NOT the reason there are seashells on top of mountains. The cases where there are seashells on top of mountains can be from many causes. For example, the are seashells all over the mountains in OK. Did tey get there from the flood? No. At one time an inland sea covered much of Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas.
In the case of seashells being found on the top of Mt. Everest...these are called ophiolites. They are caused b a rare event where seafloor is obducted instead of subducted. In other words, a slab of seafloor has ridden over the continent. The slab was then uplifted by tectonic collisions between India and Asia.
I'm not trying to insult you, I just don't want you to use this to try and prove Noah's flood, because it won't. And yes, I am a geologist/geophysicist.
