yeah, waldo, what type of remchester frankenvarminter you got, there? hmmmm? looks like i have just the fields to see how "groundhog-accurate" that thing is! lol! bring your big glass...i have 800+ yards of fun in the carroll county hills. |

Oh, some here have already seen the rifle, but OK It a Model 70 action, squaded and trued, Douglas XX premium airguaged SS, black T'd, 1-10", chambered in 300 Winmag. Jewell trigger. Stock is McMillan A4, Scope is a Leupold LRT 6.5X20X50mm, 30mm tube 3/4 mildot w/side focus, weighs 16.5 lbs. Spotter is Kowa TSN821 w/20X60 zoom eyepiece. The ammo this thing like to eat is made with Rem brass, with a Sierra 180gr. HPBTMK on top of 72.0gr of IMR 4831 and a CCI mag rifle primer, loaded in Lee Collet necksize and seater dies to an OAL of 3.340", will shoot under 1/2 moa when the light is right (no mirage) |

Hah, I was there shooting it sunday, that's why I was loading tonight ;) hmmmm? looks like i have just the fields to see how "groundhog-accurate" that thing is! lol! bring your big glass...i have 800+ yards of fun in the carroll county hills. It's a little overkill for groundhogs, but it might be fun anyway. BTW, that's the barrel Dave at IT&D did for me. |
