On the "Nazis were brave..." thread, Garden Weasel pasted from ebay, that the following items would be removed from sale on ebay:

"Items that bear symbols of the Nazis, the SS, or the KKK, including authentic German WWII memorabilia that bears such marks."

It seems that ebay panders to weenies. They're afraid some weenie will have his poor wittle feelings hurt if he sees a nazi helmet for sale.

I HATE companies that pander to weenies. Let the word go forth, that from this day on, I will not do business with weenie loving companies! Until ebay rescinds this directive, I shall abstain from shopping or selling there.

Don't know about eBay much, except sold a motorcycle ('87 Ducati) on it, and reserve was met.

Policy was 3 days for buyer to transfer funds, and seller delivers on payment receipt or agreed buyer terms.

Buyer e-mails on 3rd day, after auction close requesting banking info for wire transfer.

Phone him with all info the next day for a bank wire.

Week later, a check shows up for 10% of purchase
marked "balance on pick-up."

Pickup was 6 weeks later, arriving at door a day off what buyer promised.

After took the bike, they paid by check. Was surprised it cleared.

Haven't ranked the buyer yet . . .

Makes ya feel good
to know that in some minds
collecting
authentic German WWII memorabilia
is about the same as promoting the KKK.

The issue here is that eBay does a lot of business in Europe, and they were considering blocking eBay entirely if they didn't block this stuff.

They can have socialist Europe. They can't have my business. Now if only a few thousand other REAL Americans would follow suit, they'd drop their dumb idea and get on with selling stuff, rather than pandering to idiot weenies.

Only an idiot weenie would be offended by someone selling the spoils of war, which is exactly what genuine nazi artifacts are, the spoils of war. We won, they lost, we get to sell THEIR stuff. [:P]
