Alcohol + handling a firearm + pointing it at someone else + pulling the trigger + assuming it wasn't loaded
Are there any gun safety rules that were not violated here? I don't count "know what's beyond your target" since it's clear he wasn't pointing the gun in a safe direction anyway. |

What's wrong with you guys? It's obviously the gun's fault. It's ALWAYS the gun's fault. The loose nut behind the trigger has NO culpability.

I'll bet the greedy trial lawyers are circling the victims family right now. Sounds like another frivilous lawsuit on the horizon. Doesn't matter that they broke every safety rule in the book and were drinking.

Booze and guns don't mix, and its always an 'unloaded' gun that kills some one in circumstances like this! If it was'nt intentional, he has gotta deal with the guilt for the rest of his life.
