From [url]http://www.canoe.ca/LondonNews/lf.lf-07-27-0031.html[/url]Well DUH!  We've said over and over and over again that restricting access to guns WILL NOT make you safer.  Here's MORE proof.Yup, that's it.  The guns load themselves, aim themselves, and just "go off" by themselves.  No human intervention necessary.  It's GOT to be the gun's fault.And, of course, it's our fault.  After all, the U.N. says all it takes is one "member nation" that doesn't go along to screw up global gun control.And that's what happens any time you make something illegal that people want - you produce a black market to fill the need.  Unavoidable rule of economics, and no gun control law you will EVER pass will change it.  If they can't import them, someone will make them locally.ANGER MANAGEMENT?  The vast majority of homicides are directly related to the illicit drug trade.  These people are killing each other over drugs, or money, or because they are ON drugs at the time.  "Anger management" is directed at Joe Blow who has a temper.  The number of that type of homicide has held steady for YEARS.  Don't confuse 'em with the facts, though.Just like they're stopping the influx of drugs?  Good job there.  Wish you luck. But nobody will listen to Mr. Hinter, he's an evil man who wants to put machineguns into the hands of children.

Bureaucrats tend to need simple tangible targets to draw the focus away from their own incompetence.  

Sheep tend to like easy concepts, like... Guns are bad.  No guns = no shooting deaths.  Stupid people have guns, because guns are bad.  We must stop stupid people from getting guns, because guns are bad, Etc...

Sheep don't think as individuals, and average Joe politician knows it.  Give them a target, keep it simple, and you'll justify your position as a "leader".

The complexities of the individual mind and the need for freedoms escape the sheep who haven't given it much thought.  While those in power tend to rely on them "not giving it much thought".

Stealth, when the government finally tramples the Constitution and feels itself free to do as it pleases, you will be one of the first to be "re-educated".  Whether that will be in a gulag "mental hospital" as in the former Soviet Union, or with a bullet behind the ear as in Cambodia remains to be seen.
