5.7 x 28mm ammunition, part of an agreement between
FN HERSTAL and FIOCCHI

Herstal, Belgium (September 14, 2005) FN HERSTAL, S.A. (Belgium) and FIOCCHI MUNIZIONI S.p.A. (Italy) are pleased to announce that they
have concluded in March 2005 a cooperation agreement wich involves the manufacturing of the 5.7 x 28 mm ammunition by FIOCCHI under FN licence.
This ammunition will be marketed by FN HERSTAL.

The production of the ammunition has already started at FIOCCHI facilities in Italy, and will start at FIOCCHI in the USA in the near future.

If this makes the P90 affordable to shoot... how many folks are going to snag one?  I certainly couldn't... but this ammo deal, if true, could be pretty fantastic for some of you.

I think the price will be in the .30 carbine range when it's all said and done.

When the FN rep was here showing the P90 and the 2000, he stated the 5.7 will be ready to buy this late fall/winter and would be available from Fiocchi and Hornady.

Midway is out of stock or backordered on everything 5.7

Just got my email back from wolf, they will be making it later this year
