in the couple of months that i lifted a few years ago, i got my bench max up to 135lbs.  so eat it, bitch.

kinda weird, actually.  everything else (curls, dips, etc) - all improved a lot but the bench was my body's weakest area.

weird thing is, i couldnt get up 140 but 135 went up with almost no strain.  its like there's this one point between bent arms with the bar down and them partially up, that if i can get it past that one really small part, its fine.  really odd experience.

Well I cant get up 300lbs, I can get it up a bit but not all the way that 5lbs can be killer. Hell 295 is killer thats why I max out at it

I did 450 a few times but that was as high as I could go.  I did a 600 squat once.  Tip: use dumb bells to get your max up.  It does feel good though

In all seriousness - doing dumbbells and negatives is where it's at if you want a large bench press.

I need to get some dumbbells, Right now all I have as far as dumbbells are two sets of cast irons, a 15lb set and 45.
