Click anywhere in the taskmanager window (but not on a 'button'), then hit alt+f4.

Then reopen it and see if it is more gooder.

What is this "Task Manager" thing of which you speak?

I thought the computer was supposed to do that for you!

I don't care which side of the OS war you fall on, you have to admit one thing:

It would be WONDERFUL if the ASSHOLE programers would either a) DOCUMENT all these little features so people could USE them, or b) NOT put the memory-hogging, nobody-cares-about-it features in the program to begin with!

Pfft. Since when must any "feature" have a point? It's one of those things that was added to the code "because they can" do it, not because it has any useful purpose whatsoever.
