I flew from Minneapolis to Boston yesterday and John Kerry was on my flight.  He boarded just ahead of me.  The gate attendant was getting all emotional saying, "we need your help."  I guess she was talking about the ongoing northwest strike and the crappy state of the airline industry.  There was another psycho beast of a woman who got all excited too and they had what must have been a delightful conversation.  Unfortunately I had nothing to throw at him since I don't even attempt to bring decent, throwable objects through security.  He looked like he had a fake tan and was possibly wearing makeup.  It was weird that he was all alone.  I would have expected him to be with some assistants of some kind.  And yes, before anyone asks, he did sit in first class of course.

I think that's all I have to say on the matter.

You should have tripped him as he was walking by you.

Was he able to steal your wallet?

You shoulda " took one for the team" and kicked open the wing emergency exit door at 30,000.

My sympathies...would have spoiled my flight. Too bad his seat wasn't ejectable. I'd push the button.

I applaud you. It must have been tough remaining humble in the presence of such a great American war hero.

Either that or you're not blessed with the ability to projectile vomit at will.

Kind of interesting.

I'll tell you, for as much as I disliked Clinton when he was in office, if I got a chance to meet him now I wouldn't mind talking with him about stuff.

Same with Kerry.  Either one of these guys would be interesting to interview on various life issues, not so much politics.

In terms of Republicans, well...they all seem so normal that I'm sure an interview would be quite boring:

"Yes, faithful to my beloved wife for 20 years."

"Really?  No, uh, intern/cigar interface?"

"Uh...what?"

"Nevermind.  20 years, eh?  So, uh...what did you do as a kid growing up?"

"Well, when I was 10 my dad taught me how to shoot, then took me hunting and fishing regularly.  He also taught me about economics and saving money [blah blah blah] "

"...uh?  No no, I wasn't snoring...really.  Listen, I've got...uh...a phone call, yeah.  One to make.  So I'll, uh...talk to you later."

Yeah.  I can see it now.  No LSD tripping stories, no drunk and carousing stories...yeah...boring.

Actually, I'm glad that you didn't.  He probably would have put in for another purple heart and we would have had to hear about it throughout the next campaign

Did he order drinks without a plan? Did the passengers reach a consensus? Did he get on the plane first with the handicapped passengers after showing his three purple hearts?

Walk near him and mumble:

"You rang?"
"*cough* asshole *cough*"

You get the picture...

Stop.

Fart loudly.

I would have started laughing so hard, I wouldn't have been able to stop. I know most of the people would have looked at me funny, but then I would try to say,..."And YOU thought you could be President?" Then I would have started it all over again. They can't put you in jail for laughing.

I saw a piece on Fox News.

Kerry was campaining in St.Paul for a democrat mayoral candidate.  He was doing it for the guy running against the current mayor, also a dem, who endorsed President Bush in '04. Read:payback

I'd bet two small rifle primers the DNC paid for the flight.

Man he must of felt like white trash flying a commerical airline and not private jet.  He must of been bad and is being punished by wifey.

I thought about praying for a plane crash, but never actually did.  I would have agreed that your suggestion would have been the proper course of action had this whole thing occurred a year ago.  But now John Kerry is irrelevant.

I would have walked up and shook his hand...............After sneezing quite nastily into mine and then done the double hand shake where he couldn't pull away.  Then say, I never got to shake the hand of such a big loser, liar and traitor before.

"24 years in the senate and not one, NOT EVEN ONE bill authored and passed??? How does it feel to be the personification of failure, sir?"

That's the only question I have for the honorable senator.

It was probably Herman Munster on that flight.  There's simply no way JfingK would fly alone.

I think at the very least, I would have flashed him the "W" sign with my fingers. It would be really cool to sit next to him, or across the aisle, where you could write a big "W" on a book or paper and position it so it faced him throughout the flight.

Was he there for the in flight movie decision?

When the movie sucked, did he tell everyone he voted for it, before he voted against it?
